Especially Stroopwafels & Sweet Hartleys
Through creative action and culinary inspiration, Create Waunakee is fostering a more diverse and inclusive society in Waunakee. To do this, it started "Especially Create Waunakee," a new culinary arts program that helps people with cognitive disabilities find lasting and fulfilling job opportunities in the area.
Together with the micro-bakery Sweet Hartley’s, and Especially Stroopwafels, Especially Waunakee, Inc. has established an internship program using a bakery and farmers market setting as a platform with a long-term goal to provide jobs for people with disabilities.
Come visit us at the Waunakee Farmer's Market every Wednesday from 3-6pm starting June 4 in Reeve Park, 100 E Main St, Waunakee, WI
