What is WAM?
Discover a world of art at the Annual Waunakee Artisan Market (WAM), taking place on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at the beautiful Schumacher Farm Park. As a juried art event run by artists for artists, WAM is dedicated to showcasing exceptional artistic creations in an environment designed for success. We are committed to keeping booth costs low for participating artists and even offer free booth spaces for selected student artists, coupled with a valuable mentoring program and scholarship opportunities. Our careful curation process ensures a high standard of quality and a diverse yet balanced representation of artistic mediums, fostering a marketplace where talented artists can thrive and connect with discerning art lovers. Join us for a day of creativity, complemented by live music and local food trucks in an idyllic farm setting.
FAQs
Should I buy tickets in advance?
We highly recommend it! The biggest incentive is that everyone can enjoy a smoother traffic experience, including you! You'll be able to pull up your digital ticket and be on your way!
Adult General Admission tickets: $3
Adult VIP Admission: $10
Anyone under 18 is free!
If you do not buy advance tickets, you can still purchase upon entry. We will have QR code signs available to scan for card transactions and attendants to help with cash.
What is included in the VIP ticket?
For an elevated WAM experience and to further support the arts, consider our VIP Admission, available for online purchase prior to the event for $10. This special ticket includes preferred parking, and you'll receive a $5 certificate to use towards any art purchase at the fair that day. Stop by the Create Waunakee booth to pick it up! Your VIP ticket directly contributes to the talented artists, the success of the event, and the ongoing initiatives of Create Waunakee, Inc.
Where do I park?
VIP ticket holders, Vendors, Volunteers, and people with disabled parking placards/plates* can park at the "top of the hill" near the big red barn. The entrance is on HWY 19.
General admission parking is at the "bottom of the hill" and the entrance is on Schumacher Road. There will be mobility shuttles to provide assistance to anyone who needs it.
*Disabled visitors do not need to pay $10 for "top of hill" parking. Accessible parking is available near the barn for all ticket options (VIP, General, and Child).
How can I volunteer?
We have plenty of ways to volunteer at WAM! Head over to our Signup Genius. Also, check out our general Create Waunakee volunteer opportunities page for more fun.
