Throughout the year, there are a variety of events and opportunities that showcase the creatuve talents of Waunakee and its residents, organizations, and businesses.

CULTURAL AWRENESS EVENTS
By telling the stories of our community members, we discover our similarities, learn about our differences and share the contributions we bring to the place we all call Home. Together we will travel in time or get to know somewhere new!

WRAP/WAYS EXHIBIT & WORKSHOP
WRAP is an opportunity for both emerging and experienced artists to exhibit their work for the public, receive feedback from a professional artist, and participate in a guided workshop. Participants also have the chance to be chosen for display at the State exhibit later in the year.

ART ON MAIN
Public art project presented in collaboration with Endres Manufacturing and other partners to showcase the talent and creativity living within our community.

ARTISAN MARKET
The Waunakee Artisan Market is a juried one day art show held on the historic 40-acre Schumacher Farm Park in Waunakee each Fall. This unique market blends the charm of fall on the farm with quality art exhibitors and food carts.

MAKE MUSIC DAY
A day full of music and talent through the Village! Celebrated on June 21st each year, Make Music Day is a nationwide events that encourages musicians of all ages and abilities to et outside and share their love of music with the community!
BUILDING CONNECTIONS
Join Waunakee Public Library, Waunakee Neighborhood Connection, and Create Waunakee for Building Connections - a series of programs aimed to promote community engagement, build relationships, and foster conversations - all with a goal of continual learning and growth

PUBLIC ART INSTALLATIONS
Take a tour through the village and view a series of public art including the High School sculpture, main street mural, street surface murals and more!

SPORTS & RECREATION
The Waunakee Village Center offers many different recreational activities and programs for residents of all ages.

LIBRARY PROGRAMMING
The Waunakee Public Library offers creative activities and programs for residents of all ages.

LIVE FROM THE PARK
A summer concert series plays out on Tuesday nights in Village Park. Concerts take place underneath the gazebo. Food carts are also onsite and change weekly so concert-goers can experience the fun flavors that Madison-area food carts have to offer.

STEM DAYS
Fun and interactive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities. Watch demos of BadgerBOTS and CNC machines, make your own chocolate molds, rubber band rockets and more!

WAUNAKEE
COMMUNITY BAND
The Waunakee Community Band (WCB) was founded in 1985. The WCB is primarily a summer band, with rehearsals starting in April and the concert season from June through August.

CULTURAL HERITAGE EVENTS
Schumacher Farm park is a
40-acre farmstead with trails leading through a 10-acre prairie just east of Waunakee. They offer many programs and events throughout the year focusing on cultural heritage.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EVENTS
The Chamber organizes events and opportunities for the community throughout the year. View the monthly calendar for up-to-date activities.

WAUKTOBERFEST
A yearly festival held on the Endres Manufacturing grounds featuring food, beer, music, inflatables,
a pop up market, hammer sluggin, pumpkin decorating & more!

CREATIVE WALL AT THE HALL
An opportunity for artists from the Waunakee area to share their work with the community.

IMAGINATION CELEBRATION
A festive afternoon of exhibits,
performances, demonstrations, and activities for all ages.

WAUNAFEST
A local celebration of music, food, arts and crafts, and more! It's where you'll Wauna be!
