WAUNAKEE wrap exhibit & workshop
Exhibit April 8 - April 29, 2023
Workshop April 29, 2023

The Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) provides workshops and exhibit opportunities for emerging and nonprofessional artists ages 18+ across the state. Each exhibition welcomes all forms of art both 2D and 3D, and includes an educational or hands-on workshop, along with award recipients that are chosen as honorable mention pieces, or state award pieces that are selected to showcase their work at the State level exhibition held in the fall of each year.

The Waunakee Artistic Youth Showcase (WAYS) gives students ages 10-17 a free chance to display their creations alongside WRAP participants at the Waunakee Public Library and participate in the Workshop.

exhibitor registration

Adults 18+ may register for Waunakee WRAP and exhibit up to (2) pieces of original artwork at the Waunakee Public Library. The cost is $30 and includes:

  • 3 weeks of exhibit time

  • Critiques by Theatrical Muralist Abby Wilson, and a chance to move on to the State WRAP Exhibit or receive honorable mention or Judge's Favorite

  • A hands-on workshop opportunity lead by local Artisan Natasha Lutes

Community members 14+ (10+ w/ adult)
can join our WRAP & WAYS exhibitors at this year's workshop for a $5.00 fee!

Natasha Lutes, Waunakee-based Glass Mosaic & Jewelry Artisan will walk you through the steps of creating a large mosaic in your own home – just like she did! From finding the right space, to tools & supplies, Natasha will cover it all in this fun hands-on workshop. After the presentation, participants will use what they have learned to create their own mosaic switch plate cover to take home.

Students in grades 5th - 12th may enter our FREE showcase and have their artwork displayed alongside the WRAP Exhibitors at Waunakee Public Library.
Participation in WAYS includes:

  • 3 weeks of exhibit time

  • Recognition from our special guest and chance at Judge's Favorite.

  • Free participation in the WRAP Workshop on April 29th, 2023.

We will remain mindful of conditions and will insure the safety of our participants by following the Dane County and CDC Public Health guidelines at the time of the event.
