Especially Stroopwafels is more than a bakery — it is a community-driven initiative creating meaningful training and employment opportunities for young adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. Through the real-world experience of producing and selling authentic Dutch stroopwafels, participants gain hands-on skills in food production, teamwork, customer service, communication, and entrepreneurship.

Participants work alongside mentors and volunteers in a welcoming, encouraging setting that focuses on confidence, independence, and personal growth.
