I am a local photographer and an elementary school teacher in the village of Waunakee. Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My dad was my physics teacher at WHS and taught me the basics, and I’ve taken a multitude of classes since then and have even taught fourth graders about photography. I was a Creative Memories consultant and taught scrapbooking, too.

I use my photography to show the beauty in everything from life to landscapes, most of which are local. Almost every night, I post a photo on three different Waunakee Facebook pages and reach around 10,000 people to bring a glimpse of light and happiness to end their day. My photography has been featured: on the cover of our Village Center Activity Guides, Waunakee Chamber of Commerce Directories, in the newest elementary school lobby, on Channel 27 WKOW and Spectrum News, in a Wisconsin seasons magazine, and my favorite which was a Waunakee Sesquicentennial piece for Art on Main which is housed in the public library. It showcases photos of historic and current places only found in “The Only Waunakee in the World.”

Overall, I have done a couple of weddings, multiple family portraits and senior pictures, but my heart is really into chasing sunsets, rainbows, nature, animals, and travel photography.
