The Waunakee Public Library which was originally established in 1909 by the Waunakee Women's Club,has a multitude of historical photos and documents accessible to the public, as well as "History Hall" at the newly opened Library which showcases a variety of displays on Waunakee's history over the years

This year as part of a gift to the community, the Waunakee Rotary Club is replacing the pier at Village Pond with a wonderful handicapped accessible pier. Check out this write up about the history of the pier.
1988 WAUNAKEE OPTIMIST CLUB BOOKLET
The Waunakee Optimist Club, founded in 1983, sponsors various activities in the Waunakee Community.
